Leeds United fans have been reacting to the latest updates on the Leeds’ pursuit of Swansea City winger Daniel James.
Marcelo Bielsa has been heavily linked with a move for James throughout the January window, with numerous outlets suggesting the winger is Bielsa’s number one target.
The Whites are in need of another creative midfielder after losing Samuel Saiz at the end of December, which only acted as fuel on the fire for speculation, all of which Swansea boss Graham Potter refutes.
The Swans boss told to the assembled media, and was quoted by Leeds Live, ahead of his side’s FA Cup clash with Gillingham: “[The rumours] just emerge from somewhere and then we have to speak about it.
“Nothing’s come in.”
Despite that, the Yorkshire Evening Post’s Phil Hay and the Daily Mirror’s David Anderson continue to spark speculation over a move, with Anderson suggesting that Leeds are in negotiations over a fee.
