A lot of Leeds United fans love Liam Cooper’s attention to detail in the press conference before QPR.
The Leeds captain is back from injury and discussed various topics, including his fitness, the form of Kiko Casilla, and the pressing style of Leeds.
However, one part that stood out from Cooper’s quotes for many Leeds supporters was his comments on opponents raising their game.
Usually, a footballer would come out with a general statement that the opposition might raise their game by 10%, but Cooper claimed every opponent Leeds face raise their game by 3%.
This is a precise number and suggests that Cooper has been working closely with Marcelo Bielsa to identify how Leeds can overcome their opponents.
See the best of the reaction below.
Liam Cooper: "We’re a big scalp in the Championship. [Opponents] give an extra 3% against us. We have to embrace that and bring our style to fruition, and we have the majority of the time. If we keep creating we are going to win more matches and take more points."

I love how it’s an extra 3%. He’s obviously worked it out to the nearest whole percent whilst others will simply round to the nearest ten or five. Attention to detail at its finest.

It’s more than 3%. More like 20%

Other Whites supporters, though, believe that most of the opposition raise their game by more than 3%.
