“He says that about every team” – These Leeds fans react to Bielsa’s Bristol City preview

A few Leeds United fans have been reacting on social media after Marcelo Bielsa claimed that Bristol City will be a difficult opponent to face during Saturday’s Championship clash.

United host Lee Johnson’s side at Elland Road this weekend looking to record our fourth consecutive win over the Robins and extend a six-game unbeaten run, which would see the Whites remain in the automatic promotion places.

Bielsa has only managed to orchestrate one win in our last eight games in all competitions, allowing Fulham to claw back into contention for a top-two finish with the Cottagers now only behind the Whites on goal difference.

Will we still be in the automatic places come Sunday?

Yes

No

Bristol City will be keen to end their losing streak against Leeds this weekend, given the Robins travel to West Yorkshire trailing sixth-placed Preston North End also only on goal difference amid their push for a Play-Off finish.

The Ashton Gate natives will arrive at Elland Road brimming with confidence having won four of their last five Championship fixtures, while keeping three clean sheets, and Bielsa is well aware of the threat they will pose.

“Bristol City are a team that is in the top part of the table and I think they deserve to be there in a good position,” the boss stated, via quotes by the club’s official website.

“They’ve incorporated four players in the starting XI, one of those was a substitute and one more who had left the club.

“They are a difficult opponent as is every team in the Championship and we have to mention they are in a good position.”
