According to Fabrizio Romano via his Twitter account, Leeds United’s summer priority target, Charles De Ketelaere is set to sign for Italian giants AC Milan,

Leeds have tracked the Belgium International all summer, and had a bid of around £35m accepted by Club Brugges. The player however preferred a move to AC Milan, and now it seems the saga will be about to end, as he is set to sign a deal worth an initial fee of €36m plus add-ons. Leeds fans will have mixed feelings, some will be sad that they missed out on the talented 21 year old, but the majority will be glad to see the long, drawn out affair finally over.

It also looks like Leeds are set to miss out on another target, Paris Saint-Germain forward, Arnaud Kalimuendo, as he looks likely to join fellow Ligue 1 club, Rennes.

Leeds have been actively seeking a left back and a striker according to coach Jesse Marsch, but will be pressed for time to get any more faces through the door at Elland Road before the season gets underway next weekend. It is clear to see that Leeds need attacking options plus a natural left back after news that Junior Firpo will miss the first 8-10 weeks of the season.

They have been very busy in the transfer market so far securing deals for Brendan Aaronson, Marc Roca, Rasmus Kristensen, Tyler Adams, Darko Gyabi, Luis Sinisterra and Sonny Perkins. Even though they would still like two or three new additions before the transfer window slams shut. Leeds struggled with injuries last season, and Jesse Marsch and the board have highlighted the need to not repeat the same mistakes again, after nearly losing their Premier League status last season.

What do Leeds fans think? Are you happy with the business so far, and who else would you like to see come in? Let us know in the comments.
