Leeds Word On The Tweet

‘Don’t think we could cope’ – Lots of Leeds fans reply to club tweet with same message

We fell out of the top two when we lost at Birmingham, but our win on the road at Preston North End moved us back ahead of Sheffield United in the race for automatic promotion.

The St Andrew’s natives holding the Blades to a point on Wednesday night did us a favour, too, and now we are not just above Chris Wilder’s side, but also above them having played the same amount of games.

Hopefully this time we do not let it slip and fall back into the Play-Off picture, which no matter what has a place on offer to us, now.

The official club Twitter account said that, with five games to go, we are at least guaranteed a place in the Play-Offs, however, has not gone down overly well with fans.

As soon as the tweet was sent, a lot of supporters replied back with the same message, saying that we should not be happy just finishing in the Play-Offs, and the thought of trudging to Wembley to secure Premier League football was something that struck them with fear.

The next step, then, to avoid having to tempt fate in the Play-Offs, will be against Sheffield United’s inner-city rivals on Saturday evening, after Millwall will have traveled to Bramall Lane.

Here’s some of the best replies to the club’s tweet…
