Angus Kinnear has been speaking recently about what the new partnership with the 49ers enterprise group could mean for the transfer window and our spending.

The Whites look to be being linked with some proven players for the first time in a while but, with that, comes a more than likely hike in price tags.

That said, then, we’re obviously hoping this new business deal means that we can sign new players and, as per Kinnear, it looks as though it is going to help us.

Speaking to talkSPORT and as quoted by Adam Pope on Twitter yesterday, here’s what he had to say:

Some positive-sounding comments, then, so let’s see how our fans responded to that:

The Verdict

I like where this is heading – so perhaps I should be careful to build up too much hope?

On the pitch, we’ve still got issues and Hecky clearly has work to do to win many of us around but I do think that off of the grass we are doing some good things.

Certainly, it’s nice to write about Leeds in an almost positive way and, though nothing is guaranteed, I do think this will work out well for us.

  • Now that the investment has been secured Jerry will most likely be not arriving. The club will be looking for a more pricey and a better option. That is why the president of Carpi is saying Leeds have a gentleman’s agreement to sign Jerry. There is no such thing as a gentleman’s agreement in business and football is a business. The average gate for Carpi is in the low 2000s, so selling an asset for as much as they can get, is something Carpi has to do to keep in business.
