Jack Clarke was back in action for Leeds United last night – albeit for the u23 side – as he makes his way back from that collapse he suffered.
Fears were rightly strong when he needed medical attention earlier this year on the subs’ bench but it has been put down to a virus that he was suffering and so concerns have faded somewhat.
He was back playing last night, too, but the Whites must be careful with him as it is best not to rush him back.
He has been exemplary this season in how a young player should act when given their chance to shine – attacking at will and driving at players.
Certainly, he looks a key prospect but Marcelo Bielsa has used him cautiously and it might well be best to keep with that method instead of wearing him out.
The virus shouldn’t be an issue, really, but at this point in the season, it is still best to use him wisely as we have other options too.
