Many Leeds United fans have been hailing midfielder Pablo Hernandez and believe that he qualifies as a club legend.
We All Talk Leeds asked that exact question on Twitter, in which the Elland Road faithful responded in their waves in favour of the 35-year-old.
Hernandez arrived at the club on loan from the Qatari side Al-Arabi in 2016 on a six-month basis, which was eventually made permanent the following January after an impressive stint for us.
Is Hernandez the best post-PL era Leeds player?
Yes
No
During that time, he has managed to stack up 150 appearances for the club, scoring 33 goals and providing 36 assists, creating a big noise in his favour from the Elland Road faithful.
Because of this, supporters sang the praises of the Spaniard and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he has been the “best player we’ve had since relegation”, while another described him as “magnificent”.
He’s been a great player for the club and he’s been one of the highlights in recent years, he’ll earn his legend status when we go up this season, for sure.

Agreed.
He deserves it so much. Has carried the club on his back at times.
Wish we could’ve got him when he was a few years younger, but then again probably wouldn’t have held onto him if we had.— We All Talk Leeds (@WeAllTalkLeeds) June 7, 2020
Does in my opinion, class act .
