With Luke Ayling back in training, it seems as though many of our fans are excited to see him back in the squad sooner rather than later.

If we’re honest, I think there will be little chance of seeing him in white this side of the summer now and that’s probably for the best – there is no need to rush him back.

It’ll be good to have him return to action for the new season, though, where he should be back to full fitness and ready to remind us all of what he can do.

With him closing in on a return, then, it seems as though many have started talking about him on social media and so, with that in mind, let’s take a look at some of what has been said:

The Verdict

He’s a player I’m a big fan of and it seems as though I am far from alone.

The defender just does his job instead of taking silly risks – something a lot of his team-mates could learn from.

Solid at the back and a strong runner going forwards, it’ll be a real boost to have him back.
