With Leeds United stumbling in their bid for promotion from the Championship in the campaign of 2018/19, some fans would’ve been watching on as Aston Villa took the Play-Off prize to return to the Premier League and with plenty of players out of contract at Villa Park this summer, one in particular seems to have caught the eye.
Albert Adomah’s departure from the club has basically been confirmed and for some, it’s probably surprising given the 31-year-old featured for them 42 times across all competitions last season.
In any event, it was believed that Leeds were in for him back in previous transfer windows and now he’s available as a free agent, for some, reigniting our interest in him would be a no brainer given his experience.
I imagine plenty of others won’t be able to get past the fact it was Adomah who walked the ball into the net, challenged by only Pontus Jansson, in the testy game at Elland Road at the end of the season.
Would happily take Albert Adomah on a free transfer at Leeds next season????????#lufc #mot

I would. Think he's got bags of ability. Think that his wages would prevent it though!

Adomah. Would be a good signing but would he suit MB’s system and extreme training regime?

The point about wages is an interesting one, but if a deal could be done he’d certainly provide an option and with his experience, he could probably teach Jack Clarke a couple of things as fans are naturally hoping he gets far more game time next season anyway.
