Sounding optimistic here, okay I`m clutching at straws, but I think we can challenge for the top six next season.
Despite all that has happened this season we do have quality in our squad and that was underlined when we started this campaign so well and were top of the league. Hecky just needs to find the solution to unlock that again and add better players than we have done in the main of late and I do think he is capable of finding decent talent.
It`ll be tough, though, with more sides coming down from the Premier League with parachute payments and, in speaking to BBC Radio Leeds, he`s admitted that we`ll have a mid-table budget. That`s not to say we won`t have money but it`s certainly got people talking, let`s take a look at what has been said:

Fair comment really. Next season could see no less than EIGHT teams propped up by parachute payments in the 40m region. That’s a 40m head start in every other club.

Kinda obvious we`re gonna have. Mid table budget. There are many teams with the luxury of parachute payments. How people don`t understand this. We need to be wise with our money, which we haven`t been this season in regards to players. Get it right next season.

It sounds worse than it is. Some teams have more money than us and others will when they drop. It`s to be expected, let`s just hope we don`t waste the resources we do have.
