Football.london reported not too long ago that Liam Moore had handed in a transfer request to move away from Reading this summer.

Indeed, there certainly seems a bit of an issue there at the moment with the Royals opting to leave him out of their squad on Friday night against Derby.

With that said, then, a move away is very possible in the final days of the window and it is surely time for Leeds to get decisive and make a move for the 25-year-old.

Perhaps, of course, Moore is aiming for a Premier League move but if that doesn’t come he’ll want to play for a side capable of challenging for promotion.

He’s one of the better defenders in the league – certainly better than Liam Cooper – and if he wants to move he shouldn’t cost massive amounts – though we obviously have some money anyway.

He’s a player that reads the game well and controls the backline; the Whites should do all they can to bring him in.
