Football.london reported not too long ago that Liam Moore had handed in a transfer request to move away from Reading this summer.

Indeed, there certainly seems a bit of an issue there at the moment with the Royals opting to leave him out of their squad on Friday night against Derby.

With that said, then, a move away is very possible in the final days of the window and it is surely time for Leeds to get decisive and make a move for the 25-year-old.

Perhaps, of course, Moore is aiming for a Premier League move but if that doesn’t come he’ll want to play for a side capable of challenging for promotion.

He’s one of the better defenders in the league – certainly better than Liam Cooper – and if he wants to move he shouldn’t cost massive amounts – though we obviously have some money anyway.

He’s a player that reads the game well and controls the backline; the Whites should do all they can to bring him in.

  • I am pretty sure that Radz and Orta will act decisively…..and that decision will be to do nothing which seems is 2nd in their list just behind decisively selling one of our best players who didn’t want to leave for under market value.

  • Liam Moore handed in a transfer request to try and force through a move to the Premiership. If he stays in the Championship, it will be with Reading. Why would he want to move to Leeds? They have a new manager who has large doubts about him and there is little obvious evidence to think Leeds will achieve anything spectacular this season. No brainier really, is it?
