The Marcelo Bielsa rumours are certainly interesting, aren’t they?

Can I see it? I’m not sure to be honest but I certainly think it’d be a massive statement if we got him.

Make no mistake, he is one of the biggest names in the coaching game at the moment and his reputation certainly needs no introduction.

He’s well rated by the likes of Pep Guardiola for crying out loud, so there is evidently something about him more than your average manager.

Can he, though, get a performance out of Jay-Roy Grot?

He’s managed Sergio Aguero and Alexis Sanchez as pointed out – but can he deal with Jay-Roy?

The Verdict

Okay, so perhaps this is not the toughest question Bielsa will have to answer if he arrives but there’s certainly a case to suggest he’d have a job on.

Grot and others have been poor so far and so to get them up to scratch would take some real coaching.
