John Brooks is the man in charge of the clash between Norwich City and Leeds United at Carrow Road today.
Brooks has taken charge of 42 games this season showing144 yellow cards and 6 reds.
This is Brooks second season officiating in the Football League and today will be his 79th game since his promotion from the National League in 2016. In his 78 games since his promotion, he has shown 294 yellow cards and 16 reds.
His last game in charge was the goalless draw between Yeovil Town and Forest Green Rovers last Tuesday evening. The game at Yeovil was one of only four games this season where he hasn’t produced a yellow or red card.
Brooks has taken charge of just three games in the Championship in his two seasons in the Football League, with his last coming in the clash between Sunderland and Brentford in February.
This will be the first time that he has taken charge of a game involving either Norwich City or Leeds United.
