A Good Day Gets Better For Influential Leeds Star

|

Leeds United’s influential attacking midfielder Pablo Hernandez celebrated his 34th year on the planet yesterday and understandably the Elland Road faithful took full advantage to praise the man for his efforts at the club, particularly in light of his resurgence this year.

With 32 starting appearances this season under Argentine head coach Marcelo Bielsa, and an additional two Championship showings from the bench, the Spanish wizard has notched up 12 goals and a whopping 11 assists for the season so far, and we know there are a few games left as we look to secure second spot in the table and earn promotion to the Premier League.

With the official Leeds United Twitter account wishing him a happy birthday yesterday, plenty of fans were quick to get their own good wishes in, and plenty took the opportunity to praise him and make predictions about how he might take to life in the English top flight – which everyone hopes will be next season.

It wasn’t just that though, the same morning he was nominated on the shortlist for the EFL Player of the Month.

As you can imagine that was only a small selection of the comment that came in.
