Having already taken Manchester City starlet Jack Harrison on loan, Leeds United have been linked this weekend for a second move at the Etihad – but this time striker Lukas Nmecha.

The Sun claimed this weekend that manager Pep Guardiola is ready to sanction the deal to Leeds after we had registered our interest in the England Under 19 international as he feels his development will be best suited to Elland Road under Marcelo Bielsa.
The German-born striker is highly rated at Manchester City in their Elite Development Squad and they believe the 19-year-old is now ready to step up to senior football having made three substitute showings for them in the season of 2018/19.
Any loan spell out would be his first and the Sun claim that his friendship and respect of Bielsa now puts us in pole position to capture his services for the year, despite previous interest from Swansea City, Blackburn Rovers and relegated West Bromwich Albion.
We’ll have to see if there’s any truth to this, but some Manchester City fans reacting on social media to the news have a preference for us it seems.
Thank you #Lufc
