Friday evening’s Championship action saw Leeds United temporarily return to the top of the table with a fantastic victory over fellow promotion hopefuls West Bromwich Albion.
Hosting the side at Elland Road, manager Marcelo Bielsa’s side were out to prove a point after the disappointment at Queens Park Rangers, and we had the lead inside of the opening minute as Pablo Hernandez found the back of the net. A Patrick Bamford brace and a stoppage-time effort from Ezgjan Alioski returned all three points.
