Leeds United’s young prospect Hugo Diaz took to social media at the weekend and although his message was simple ‘always working hard’ the timing of the Tweet left a couple of fans wondering if it was supposed to mean he would come into manager Marcelo Bielsa’s thoughts for this weekend’s Championship return to action against Bristol City.
With another round of injuries at the club more limiting Bielsa’s options once again, defensively we do have issues and plenty of fans are looking for the gaffer to pivot with some concerns over both fullback spots in the starting XI and with criticism of Stuart Dallas in particular, does the 21-year-old Spanish lad become a possible option?

I wouldn’t have thought so really as I’d expect others to be ahead of him in the pecking order given who Bielsa has already given game time to in 2018/19 and with only one substitute showing to his name, he doesn’t boast greater experience that could be leant on when compared with other youngsters, but Bielsa is his own man.
