It seems the Leeds United board can’t please everyone, no matter how hard they try.
After all the positivity that has surrounded the club the past few days, with the signings of Helder Costa and the almost unanimous praise the club received after releasing this year’s shirt, you’d be forgiven for thinking that there’s nothing for Leeds fans to be angry about.
Well, it turns out there is.
With a lot of concern surrounding Kalvin Phillips and his contract situation and the departure of Pontus Jansson to Brentford, it looks as if a lot of Leeds fans are stuck in a ‘glass half empty’ kind of mindset. Whilst no club can ever have the ‘perfect’ summer, there will always be some disappointment, surely the joy that came about as a result of the signings of not just Costa, but of Jack Harrison & Ben White, Liam McCarron and Jack Clarke too would outweigh the negativity.
So when the club released a simple statement regarding ticket details for their upcoming friendly in Italy, the backlash that the club received was incredibly uprising, with some accusing the club of not signing enough players.

How about Leeds telling the fans what’s going on? Really not helping the anxiety levels. Have we forgotten MOT?

Oh, and in case you were wondering, tickets for the Cagliari game range in price from €2-€10, with supporters able to purchase a maximum of four tickets each.
Don’t want to be accused of burying the lead here.
