You can’t really argue with these statistics.
I think it’s pretty common knowledge at this stage that Leeds fans adore what Eddie Nketiah is doing at Elland Road so far this season, and it’s led to a lot of calls for him to be getting more minutes. It’s not just the fans that have been calling out for it either. Members of the media and even people within the Leeds United squad have been saying that he deserves to start more often, alas to no avail.
However, if Marcelo Bielsa sees this statistic, it might just give him a little pause for thought.
As ever, credit goes to the fantastic @LUFCDATA for doing the research on this (honestly I don’t know where I’d be without you). He has worked out that Nketiah has scored a goal every 56 minutes that he’s played in this season for both club and country. And that statistic has just led to a lot more Leeds fans demanding that he be given the starting role that I think at this stage he has pretty much earned.
Top goal scorer this season in championship lads

Is there a more in form striker atm? Doing it at all levels, watching him go back to Arsenal, is going to be tougher than when the wife left and took the kids!!!

Play him from the start see what he can really achieve

I wonder how much longer we’re going to have to wait before Bielsa gives in to the demands of the fans?
