‘Yeah, great’ – Many Leeds fans share the same message in reply to Radrizzani’s post

Many Leeds supporters have been sharing the same message in reply to a recent post by United owner Andrea Radrizzani, when the Italian sought to praise our triumphant Under 16s.

The young crop of Whites talents lifted the Esposende Cup at the weekend, after beating Nottingham Forest on penalties in the Final, having been held to a 1-1 draw in regulation time after Luke Harrop struck United’s equaliser in the 19th minute after an early opener by Esapa Osong.

However, when Radrizzani praised our U16s’ triumphant success at the Esposende Cup, many Leeds fans sought to use it as a chance to lament the Italian regarding the speculative futures of Kemar Roofe and Pontus Jansson.

The Scottish Sun recently revealed that Rangers are plotting a potential move to sign Roofe this summer, should Steven Gerrard’s side lose influential yet controversial £10million-rated striker Alfredo Morelos.

The Gers are said to see our 2018/19 top goalscorer as their top target to replace the Colombian, given Roofe has now entered the final year of his current deal at Elland Road. Fears over negotiations stalling are also thought to have led United chiefs to slap a £5million asking price on the 26-year-old, in a bid to prevent him from leaving for free next summer.

As for Jansson, reports emerged at the start of July noting that he had been training with former side Malmo amid recurring links with a move away from West Yorkshire.

Concerns over the defender’s attitude is understood to have seen his future with the Whites cast into doubt, while a £5.5million offer is thought to have been placed by an English side – believed to be Brentford – in a bid to sign the Swedish centre-back, who has been told he must return to Thorp Arch by July 12.

Here’s how these Leeds fans responded to Radrizzani’s post…
