Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is looking for additional reinforcements this month to bolster his side’s push for promotion, with the club currently sitting pretty at the top of the Championship table.
The Peacocks opened up a four-point lead over their rivals following last week’s victory over Derby County, although all the talk since has been about ‘spygate’ rather than the result itself, but Leeds have continued with their work behind the scenes.
Bielsa has his sights set on a new winger and has Swansea City’s Daniel James as his prime target, although it has now been stated that Bristol City’s Callum O’Dowda is being lined-up as an alternative if the Whites cannot secure a move for the Wales international.
O’Dowda has contributed two goals and three assists for the Robins this season, establishing himself as a key player, and fans of the club took to social media to react to reports of Leeds’ interest in the 23-year-old.
