I don’t want to go on about the weekend just gone much more but I will just touch on Kalvin Phillips.
Is there a player who divides our fan-base more than he does? I’m really not sure there is.
Some think he has the potential to be a box-to-box goal-scoring midfielder whilst others reckon he should be the first one out of the door in the summer.
Let’s take a look at his stats from the season so far, then, after he did okay at the weekend and what the reaction has been to that:

But he's been massively poor….hidden in matches and looks 2 classes below Forshaw….scoring the odd screamer does not mask the fact that he is not up to the job…just because he's from Leeds doesn't mean he should be in the team….or be immune from criticism….

The Verdict
Personally, he’s a player I like.
I know he can go missing at times and that is not good enough for a club like ours but he’s not the worst midfielder we’ve ever had – nor is he the worst at the club.
He can score goals and does work hard even if it can sometimes be ineffectual so he just needs to add consistency.
I wouldn’t pack him in just yet.
