Earlier this week, Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Phil Hay claimed that Tottenham Hotspur had offered third-choice goalkeeper, Michel Vorm, to Leeds United this January window.
It’s no surprise that we are being linked with goalkeepers left, right and centre, following the injury to on loan Chelsea stopper Jamal Blackman, and youngster Will Huffer is playing back up to fellow youngster Bailey Peacock-Farrell at the moment.
With the way that 35-year-old Vorm has slipped down the pecking order under current Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino, as said previously I don’t think the deal would make sense for us, especially the financial side as I think personally there are better goalkeepers available.
Others disagree and I wasn’t expecting to see such support on social media from fans for the Dutchman.
If the story of Leeds rejecting the chance to sign Michel Vorm on loan for the rest of the Season is true then I am dumbfounded tbh!
I'm hoping it's because another GK is already on his way otherwise it just doesn't make any sense…#LUFC

Not sure why we turned the chance to sign Vorm down but I don’t think we should have #lufc

Football exists in a bubble of opinions, maybe my own thoughts on the player are overly harsh compared to others – make your own mind up.
