It`s recently come to my attention whilst I`ve been on Twitter that Luke Murphy is actually having an alright season at Burton Albion.
The midfielder probably isn`t good enough for us anymore and that is why he`s down near the bottom of the league but, to be fair to him, he`s probably having a better campaign than many of our players.
Indeed, take a look at this from LUFCDATA on Twitter.
Just been checking up to see how Luke Murphy’s getting on at Burton. Well aware of their perilous league position, but he has made more interceptions (52) than any Leeds player in the Championship. Not suggesting Murphy is a solution to Leeds’ midfield problems. Far from it, but I believe this highlights how much our current midfield options have underperformed in combative areas this season when compared against one of our own players out on loan.

I don`t think Murphy will play for us again myself, but it shows a number of our lot need to raise it ASAP.
