A case of one in, one out at Elland Road today as Jamie Clapham joins the club on loan following Eddie Lewis’ departure to Derby County.

Wolverhampton, and former Spurs, Ipswich and Birmingham City defender Clapham has made over 300 senior club appearances in his career and brings a wealth of experience to the Leeds United defence on a one-month loan deal.

Speaking to Leedsunited.com, Clapham said “I had a phone call from [Wolves boss] Mick McCarthy on Friday telling me that Leeds had been in contact,” Jamie told leedsunited.com.

“Unfortunately I couldn’t get up here in time on the Friday, but I trained with some of the lads on Saturday morning and went to the game in the afternoon.”
