In what’s been a tough season for us all, it’s been easy to get a bit nostalgic and reminisce on better days gone by.

We’re set for another year outside of the top flight next season, of course, but the size of the club remains intact with the ground packed to the rafters despite what’s been on show.

I do believe once we’re back in the Premier League we’ll become a real force again once more and, after David O’Leary celebrated his birthday yesterday, it was easy to start thinking about those days in Europe:

The Verdict

We enjoyed some of our best days at the club when he was in charge and, though he’s not really into being a gaffer anymore, he’ll always be welcomed back into some role at the club.

To be honest, though, he looks more than happy to be out of the management game and relaxing!
