Hartlepool United boss Danny Wilson does not believe that Leeds are gaining points on luck, and feels that opposite number Dennis Wise has developed a quality League One side.

Jermaine Beckford struck late for Leeds to snatch a point as defeat looked likely, a common theme for the Whites this season and Wilson believes it’s more talent and determination than lucky breaks:

“It’s not the first time they’ve done it, but it must be great belief that they have. They don’t think they’re going to lose any game.”

“Teams that are on a good run tend to have the ball rolling for them, and we’re not on a good run. But, overall, it was a good performance from us against a quality Leeds team.”
