After such a terrible result, where do you start?

Whilst some fans could focus on the not scoring part of the performance, in fact that’s what the Manchester United fans did, Leeds supporters decided to focus on the conceding four part.

In the aftermath of losing Pontus Jansson, there has been a lot of calls from fans to find an adequate replacement, or Leeds could find themselves in a whole heap of trouble this season, especially with the centre backs they currently have.

Whilst some fans pointed out that this was against a top side, nothing compared to what they will face in the Championship next season, that sentiment didn’t sit with all of the Elland Road faithful. They took to Twitter to demand that the club do something about the centre back role.

Perhaps Leeds shouldn’t have been so hasty in getting rid of the big Swede until they found someone to replace him. Bielsa’s done a lot of good work in the transfer market so far, let’s just hope he can keep up that run with just three weeks left to go until the window closes.

  • And you think Pontus wouldn’t have gone missing after being 2-0 down? He would not have made an ounce of difference
