Why there’s no point worrying about admittedly concerning transfer report

|

According to Football Insider, Bournemouth are eyeing up a double move for Kalvin Phillips and Jack Clarke in the summer window.

The report suggests the Cherries will try and get the pair in from the club even if we go up to the Premier League this season, and so that will obviously be a concern.

However, there is surely cause to be optimistic that this worrying report will go no further.

In Phillips and Clarke, we have local lads that love the club and that will be determined to get us back into the top-flight – even if it doesn’t happen this season.

Of course, Bournemouth have shown with Lewis Cook what can happen if you move there but we’re in a much more improved position now to when we were then.

There’s plenty to be optimistic about, then, and there is no point worrying about this transfer rumour for now as it could all become academic.
