According to Football Insider, Burnley are interested in signing Kemar Roofe this season with the striker in fine form.
It’s a transfer rumour we should have perhaps expected given his start to the campaign but it is also one that the forward should be wary of.
Not only are we capable of going up this season but Burnley also have the capability to ruin former Leeds’ players’ careers.
Just look at Chris Wood for example.
He was desperate to move after a bid came in from the Clarets despite enjoying his best days at Elland Road the season prior.
He got his move, then, and has since found goals very hard to come by.
Certainly, he is not their main striker right now and he surely regrets moving away from the club that helped make him.
There seems similarities with Roofe, then, and he’d do well to decide a different path than the man from New Zealand.
