It might only be mid-October but the transfer rumour mill clearly has no appreciation for time as the stories keep on coming.

There seems to be a genuine feeling among many of us that the squad is just about good enough to cope this season but that a few new players in January would be more than welcome.

The rumours, then, are going to persist with that in mind and AS Argentina reckons we are still interested in Juan Foyth from Tottenham.

Linked before, this would be a good signing for the Whites in my opinion.

He’s a powerful young defender and we need cover in the centre-half position.

He’d not just sit in, though, he’d challenge for a spot and that is what you need from a squad of players going for promotion.

Earlier this season I thought it was probably best that we didn’t get him with him having a tough start to the season but looking at the squad now and Bielsa’s player-improvement ability I think it’d be a good move.
