Leeds United have confirmed which players will be part of the 26-man squad that is travelling to Australia for pre-season matches against Brisbane Roar, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace.

All six summer signings will be making the trip: Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen, Marc Roca, Darko Gyabi, Tyler Adams and Luis Sinisterra will all be there, with Aaronson, Kristensen, Gyabi, Adams and Sinisterra all likely to play their first game in a Leeds United shirt.

Jamie Shackleton (set to leave on loan), Ayling (injury) and Firpo (minor knock, precautionary) also aren’t making the trip Down Under. Firpo’s omission will be frustrating for many following a quality display against Blackpool.

In fact, it will be a completely new shirt (hopefully) as the club released a statement back in June in which they stated, “the 2022/23 home kit will be revealed during the second week of July and the men’s first team will debut the exciting new kit in our friendly match with Brisbane Roar on 14th July 2022.” Fingers crossed.

There had been much talk surrounding Raphinha’s potential involvement in the tour, but he will not be part of the squad: he will remain at Thorp Arch due to the ongoing transfer talks.

Here’s the full squad, as per leedsunited.com.
