Leeds are looking likely to recall 20 year old defender Charlie Cresswell from his loan at Championship side Millwall following emerging interest circulating at other clubs with both permanent and loan offers said to be on the table for the youngster, reported by Phil Hay in The Athletic.
Increasingly likely that Leeds United will look to bring Charlie Cresswell back from his loan at Millwall. Hasn't been a mainstay in league games there and Championship interest in him has started materialising elsewhere:https://t.co/OJAMmPm3N9

Cresswell completed his loan switch to The Den before the start of the 2022-23 Championship season, and has registered 17 appearances in all competitions for Millwall this season, 15 of which have come in the Championship.
Impressively, in his 15 league appearances the defender has found the net four times already – a total which includes his brace of goals that gave The Lions an opening-day 2-0 victory at home to Stoke City in Cresswell’s debut.
While there are said to be some permanent offers incoming, the more likely outcome is that Cresswell heads out on loan to another Championship side that can give Leeds a stronger guarantee he will get first-team football every week. He has played a significant amount of minutes at Millwall, but having been kept out of the starting lineup in recent weeks, Leeds will want to see the England Under-21 international playing more games in the second half of the season.
Charlie Cresswell is the son of former Leeds striker Richard Cresswell, who was a decent player for Leeds during a relatively forgettable period between 2005 to 2007. Leeds fans will be hoping that Cresswell gets the desired minutes as the season progresses, and all going well he can make a push for the Whites starting lineup in the Premier League in the not-so-distant future.
