Leeds have joined the race for Dundee United full-back Mark Wilson.

Tannadice chairman Eddie Thompson had admitted that Celtic and Wolves had expressed an interest in the 21-year-old defender before putting a minimum price of £500,000 on his head.

Hearts were set to move for the Scotland Under-21 player but Wilson’s agent, Darren Jackson said:

‘There is nothing in Hearts. I haven’t heard from them or Dundee United.

‘I couldn’t tell you if Hearts have been in touch with United.

‘Mark is happy at Dundee United. He’s heard all this before and it hasn’t fazed him. He just gets on with his game.

‘He’s signed a new three-and-a-half year deal so he is not in any rush to go anywhere.

‘If somebody comes in for him and makes an offer then it’s up to the club whether they accept or not.’
