When Does A Dip Become A Collapse, An Entirely Predictable Defeat From Leeds Once Again – Match Stats

|

With only one win, but three losses, in the last five games for Leeds United similar poor form from West Bromwich Albion has more than kept the fight for the Championship title alive, and today’s clash with Play-Off chasing Nottingham Forest was another opportunity to put the pressure on the Baggies and sneak ahead of them again into top spot.

It was never going to be easy based on current form, but the way the game played out was probably entirely predictable.

Massively dominating possession and creating 13 chances overall, yet we managed to get a pitiful one on target, and Forest being far more productive with the ball (despite having significantly less of it) they took the lead just after the half hour mark, and try and we might as the final whistle neared, they made it 2-0 and comfortable four minutes into stoppage time.

When does a dip become a collapse? Two wins since December 10 tells its own story.
