Vital Leeds United has grown massively since I took over in December 2006 (not that I`m being arrogant or anything. From “site visits” of 7555 in November `06, May 2007 saw an increase to 70023 visits, and the best bit is we are still growing!

It is the intention of myself and co-editor Canila to make this website the #1 unofficial website for Leeds United fans worldwide and there are a number of features to come from the pair of us, and indeed from you, the supporters by making regular contributions during the summer and League One season.

These include:

  • League One Previews: We look at all the clubs that Leeds United will be facing in their first ever season in the old Division 2.

  • Where In The World?: The first tester of this was posted during the 06/07 season, trying to work out where David O`Leary had gone. There will be many, many more hunts for the current employment of ex-Leeds United players.

  • Vital Leeds United Travel Guides: Also trialled last year, detailed travel information will assist you in getting to away games, with road directions and suggested train times to get you from Leeds to where ever the mighty Leeds are playing.

  • Supporters Clubs: Supporters clubs we need you to get in touch with us. Vital Leeds will offer a free publicity service and online forum to Leeds United supporters clubs who wish to partner us.

  • Profile of a Leeds Supporter: Your chance to tell us all about you!

  • Yorkshire Chat: Vital Leeds will continue to support the weekly chats to improve interaction with our local rivals!

  • Fantasy Football: Currently to be confirmed whether it will be a VitalFootball run competition, or Private Vital Leeds competition via the official Premier League Fantasy Football. Will include a cash prize for the winner.

  • As you can see there are many plans in place to improve this website, and more will be coming throughout the summer. As always with Vital Football, you can have your say in how this website is run. We welcome all suggestions and if you have an idea, please feel free to contact us at leeds@vitalfootball.co.uk.
