I guess it’s ‘cheerio’ not ‘goodbye’.
With the lower league transfer window moving closing yesterday, it probably wasn’t a big surprise to see someone shipped out on loan.
Leeds announced yesterday that young defender Conor Shaughnessy has joined League Two side Mansfield Town for the rest of the season.
The young defender has made 15 appearances for the first team so far, however the loan signing of Ben White in the summer probably sealed his fate at Elland Road, for this season at least.
So how did Leeds fans react to the news that one of their youngsters was being sent out on loan? Well the majority of them didn’t seem to be of the opinion that this was a good move for him. In fact these people couldn’t work out whether or not moving to League Two was ‘beneath him’.
Conor is s decent footballer with an eye for a pass, hopefully the loan will get him much needed game time

What happened to this kid? 2 seasons ago he looked very capable of playing in the championship. Never saw him have a bad game. Now he’s off playing in league two. Mental.

he’s better than that surely

Whilst some thought that the move reflected poorly on Bielsa’s management skills.
Disgusting the way bielsa has treated these players

Although I think these guys may have been going a little bit too far with their assessment of the situation. They’re probably just joking about it, at least I hope they’re joking about it.
Bielsa out enough is enough

This is the final straw De Bock leaving, releasing Anita and now this, all in one hour. Season ticket now in the bin.

Whereas this guy probably needs to borrow Bielsa’s glasses, as he clearly didn’t read the fine print.
selling our best youngster on deadline day? where’s the ambition.
