Leeds have announced who we’re going to be facing this summer for pre-season and, to be honest, it is a little underwhelming.
Not too long ago we were getting excited about a trip to Benfica and though nothing really came of that, you’d have thought we’d go for some high profile fixtures.
Instead, though, the headline is Las Palmas who were relegated from La Liga and the rest are far more local with it evident we’re looking to stay at home for much of the summer.
Maybe that’ll work better for us after the World Cup with those that are involved but, even so, it is a little uninspiring.
Let’s take a look, then, at what has been said in reaction to the news:

It was Portugal and Italy, never America Gill but we can’t afford it. Spent it all on a trip to Myanmar

#lufc Does playing Las Palmas really get us prepared for the gruelling Championship? Rather play a Prem team.

Ok who plays for Las Palmas

The Verdict
It is a bit underwhelming to say the least.
I’d have liked some bigger names but, I guess, if we record good wins it might not be so bad.
