Our season was poor but at least we’re not Cultural Leonesa.
I, like many of our fans, cannot work out the point of this partnership we’ve got with the Spanish side.
Okay, so if you ignore what’s gone on then it does make sense. Having a side where players can get work permits is a good idea for us but, at the same time, working with them as a specific club seems to have yielded very little for us.
Yosuke Ideguchi would certainly testify towards that and, evidently, as a club they’ve had a poor season with Phil Hay revealing their relegation:
Cultural Leonesa. Relegated. A good season for all concerned.https://t.co/szCay7BxDK

Let’s look at the reaction to that:

What a waste of time and effort this was , whoβs ever idea it was needs sacking

Thomas Christensen would do a great job there!!

What a wasteful exercise that turned out to be. Whoever sanctioned that should be held accountable. Leeds lost out and so did the player. A shambles in all respects.

What a waste of time and money

The Verdict
Maybe this will mean we won’t work with them any more.
I can’t see what we’ve gained from working with them so far and with them set for lower league football next year what would be the point in sending our players there?
