Just when you think things couldn’t be much more negative at the club right now, we get some bad news about Yosuke Ideguchi.
A midfielder who could have actually played for us for the remainder of the season despite work permit problems, we decided to let him go on loan to Cultural Leonesa.
We’re never really pleased when that happens, though, and that feeling is bound to continue with this update from Phil Hay.
Cultural Leonesa entering the last month of their season. Ideguchi not in today’s squad and hasn’t played since February. World Cup chances must be slim.https://t.co/AGRZqKPWDs

Let’s take a look at the reaction to this, then, and it’s safe to say that many of us are not particularly impressed on Twitter:
Think he will go regardless to be honest, *could* have been a precondition of the deal

He’ll be gone off the wage bill soon. What a waste of a signing

Very strange transfer dealing that it’s not benefited anyone

Shame for him, but this is rock bottom of the list of stuff I care about at #lufc right now.

On the plus side he’ll be fit and raring to go on the Burma tour.

….and be joined by Klich, Antonsson and Jerry?

In a season of consistently poor decisions buying Ideguchi and sending him straight on loan to CL to barely play just plain bizarre
— Mark Devaney (@markwd1) April 29, 2018
Horrible loan deal, especially for the lad himself.

Bet he's delighted about that bizarre loan in first place what's odds he even comes to Leeds?

Killing the kids career

The Verdict
This is really worrying because he’s going to arrive short of match fitness and with a real lack of confidence.
He’s a player who I really liked the look of when he signed but we, as per usual, we’ve managed to muck it up.
Let’s hope we can somehow turn this around.
