Tyler Roberts – remember who he is?
The young striker we signed from West Brom in January is still yet to kick a ball in earnest for us as we head to the final game of the year against QPR.
Certainly, it doesn’t exactly look as though he was worth all the fuss so far and, we can only hope, that he does get fit and stays fit thereafter.
Any chance of that happening soon is up for debate, though, with Adam Pope delivering this update after the club’s press-conference earlier today:
Tyler Roberts won’t be going to Myanamar but it’s expected he will be fit for next season. #lufc

He’s expected to be fit for next season. Well, that would be nice wouldn’t it!
Let’s have a look at the reaction from our fans to the news:
So we bought him in Jan, injured. He's only "expected" to be fit in August. A whole 8 months +. Wots his injury a double amputation!?

The Verdict
I do feel a bit sorry for the lad.
He’s come to a club like ours that has been struggling and hasn’t been able to have an impact at all.
The sympathy can only go so far, though, and he needs to get fit and start proving a point before too long.
