Angus Kinnear has told Leeds Live that this summer’s transfer market is a slow and tough one and, unfortunately, that is concerning.

I don’t for a second think that no more signings are going to come in but I do worry that potentially we are going to miss out on some of the names that we have been linked with.

Of course, we’re not going to get everyone in but we need, in my eyes, a fair few quality additions to really become promotion contenders – regardless of Bielsa’s presence.

That said, then, Kinnear’s words are a bit of a concern with him saying things are ‘Slow’ and ‘tough.’

Hopefully, though, he says after the World Cup things will speed up, so if they don’t you know something is wrong.

The Verdict

All you can hope here is that he’s trying to play down expectations so when we sign players we are excited.

However, I can sense frustration among our support and I think we’re going to need some moves sooner rather than later.
