Marcelo Bielsa is the club’s new manager, boy, I never thought I’d write that even with our side’s illustrious history.
It’s a deal I’ve been waiting for in recent weeks like countless others and I’ll admit that there were times where I didn’t think it was going to happen.
A manager with unbelievable pedigree but also as volatile as anything, we might have been on the brink of it going south at any point but, it didn’t, and now we’re on the way back.
We’ve had a lot of false dawns but it looks as though we’re finally taking things seriously and I think we are going to take some stopping next year.
We’re being linked with some great players and Bielsa can bring them in, now is the time to genuinely dream about a long-awaited return to the Premier League.
I’m sure there’ll be some celebrations this weekend in the city.
