The Marcelo Bielsa rumours continue to circulate at the moment and it looks as though the Argentine is still interested in joining our club despite the drawn out process.
Certainly, when it first came about that we were interested in signing him as our new manager there was a feeling that it would go through rather sharpish.
Instead, though, it’s starting to take a bit of time and, naturally, there’s growing concern that we might not be able to get him.
Despite that, though, Phil Hay has offered a rather pleasing sounding update with him reporting that money is not an issue in the chase for his signature, more other things need to get sorted:
Money won't be an issue for Marcelo Bielsa. Happy with the package Leeds are offering. But still negotiating over plans, infrastructure and the way he wants the club to function under him. #lufc

This is certainly a boost because his wages were perhaps our biggest fear but let’s see what other fans have had to say about this development on Twitter, with it certainly creating quite the stir indeed:
Absolutely love this. Give him the whole club and let him do anything he wants. pic.twitter.com/g7oFIn18C7

I’d suggest Victor swallows any pride he has left remaining. TBF I don’t get ego with VO and hierarchy is not such a thing with him? I get the feeling his reputation is more valuable to him than his ego.

VO is the driving force behind this appointment, you would have hoped he would want it to work, regardless of the impact on his current day to day role

I’d love him to come straight in and ban every single player from social media no exceptions

Reassuring that he and the club are putting this much effort and time into the nuts and bolts

Does he have plans for the West Stand Bogs? Sinks on the left, hand dryers on the right and a queue through the middle – logistical nightmare.
