Leeds United goalkeeper Jamal Blackman made his full debut for the club in Tuesday’s EFL Cup clash with Bolton Wanderers.

Having come in over the summer from Chelsea on a season-long loan the 24-year-old has had to be patient for his chance with the general form of Bailey Peacock-Farrell, but as expected manager Marcelo Bielsa made changes for the First Round tie and Blackman got his shot at impressing the fans.

And he did just that in the 2-1 victory as we booked our place in the Second Round draw and he was happy to take to social media to talk about his delight at picking up the result and to express his thanks to the fans for their support, in numbers, on the evening.

A number of Leeds fans responded in kind with praise being shown back.

There was certainly plenty more of where that came from, but Blackman did choose an interesting image to send the message with, and that caught some talk of its own for different reasons.

Made me smile, but I have simple pleasures like that.
