We’ve got some new members as part of the club now with the 49ers enterprise group joining the board yesterday.
It should prove a good stepping stone as the club aims to make some more money and sign better players with Andrea selling a minority stake.
He evidently knows part of the group, too, as he extended this welcome to Jed York on Twitter:
Excited to welcome my friend @JedYork and Paraag at Leeds United. Welcome @49ers to our family …together to make the history of our glorious Club. #family#mot#ambition https://t.co/ePh8nNsSb9

Indeed, he replied with a positive message of his own:
We are so excited to work with you my friend #lufc

There’s been plenty said in response here, then, so let’s take a look at what has been said:

@JedYork I’m no 49ers fan. But would you come to Elland Road at any point with @49ers?

Welcome to the sleeping giants of football, Jed. Serious untapped potential within this club. The largest one club city in Britain also. Lets get back to the top!!!! #MOT

The Verdict
I’m looking forward to seeing what Jed and his pals can do for our club.
I won’t get too excited yet as we’ve been here before with financial plans but it does look as though these men have the right interests at heart.
Now let’s see some big players arrive!
