Leeds United have caught the eye under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa this season, standing four-points clear at the top of the Championship as the Yorkshire giants fight for a return to the Premier League.
The Peacocks have work still to be done but a 2-0 victory over Derby County on Friday opened up a four-point lead at the top of the table, giving Leeds room to breathe, and fans are confident that the long wait for top-flight football at Elland Road will soon come to an end.
In order to achieve their goals, further action may be required in the January transfer market and Leeds have been linked with a number of deals – but one of the first pieces of completed business has come closer to home.
The club announced that young midfielder Jack Jenkins, who has shone for the U18 side this season, had extended his deal with the club – earning a variety of responses from fans on social media, some of whom urged a new contract for Jack Clarke to be next on the agenda.
