Tottenham have caused a stir amongst Leeds fans in their pursuit of Jack Clarke, who is about to be the subject of a £10million bid, according to the Daily Mail.
The promising youngster has enjoyed a brilliant breakthrough season, and it is little surprise that Spurs are interested. At 18 he could go a long way, and for that reason Leeds should try and hold out for as much as possible.
That is the view of some fans, who would rather the club keep him around for the foreseeable future. Others would be willing to see the player go if a decent fee came in – a fee that would allow Bielsa to attract some of his main targets to the club to mount a strong promotion push.
If Clarke was to go it would anger those who believe that Leeds are a selling club. In recent years key players such as Ross McCormack, Lewis Cook and Chris Wood have all been allowed to leave.
Ronaldo Vieira also departed the club since Radrizanni took control – who also hinted that it could be a difficult summer ahead, meaning players like Clarke are more likely to leave.
Some Leeds fans are desperate for Clarke to stay, and here are some of their responses to the Spurs interest on Twitter…
I'd rather we keep him but if they come in with around 20m it's gonna be hard for Radz to turn down, especially if Bielsa has identified transfer targets that are gonna cost decent money. Someone has already posted Spurs offer peanuts to clubs for players so we have to stand firm

Nope
We are not a selling club anymore
And that goes for both our best players and for our up and coming youth
Our finances are sound, we have Bielsa and our team finished 3rd
Few small improvements and we will be there next season.
Why should we feel the need to sell? #lufc— Bielsa Ball ???????? (@BallBielsa) May 23, 2019
Can’t let him go — no no no ????????#WACCOE

More than one of the kids will attract bids.

Need money for more experienced players. Clarke is still relatively unproven

I’d probably sell him if the money was re-invested (won’t happen)) and it meant we kept Jansson and Kalvin.

He should do one more season at least with us in the championship. It’s a great league for young prospects and you don’t want to warm a bench when you should be getting game time. So many young English players vanish off into these top 6 teams to go on to be relatively unknown.
